• When a pit is formed on a standard product, damage such as small cracks (normally, 0.2mm or less) called "pili" are inevitably generated around the pit during processing. If such pili present the potential to affect pit function, the pit is polished once again after processing.
• Various special pits and grooves can be processed using standard or special processing jigs.

• Be sure to wear laser safety goggles when checking optical path and adjusting optical axis.
• If the pits desired have diameters different from standard pit diameters, an additional cost for jigs required to form the pits may also apply.
